 My Creation

I used Labradorite nuggets, Czech glass and two leaves from Every Heart Crafts with a mix of metals.

The Thai silver pendant is on a small strand of leather strung with oxidized Thai silver. Two forged copper stripes,  copper beads, Thai silver beads and sterling silver chain in the body of the necklace with the beads.

I didn’t use any of the Czech glass or the crystals, I just kept going back to a more natural or organic look.

My beads from Aimg_4611drienne Campbell, who is my partner in the bead soup swap. I think she knows how  I like working with greens and I love rainforest jasper.  I will have fun making  a necklace with my swap beads. Its funny because I sent her greens too. Please stop by and take a look at Adrienne’s blog, she just had surgery on her hand. Hope you are having a fast recovery Adrienne

I will be making my bead soup party necklace and the post early and setting it to publish on the 10th. Because I will be on vacation in Tucson. I am excited about getting to go again.

Leather and Thai silver

img_3336

img_3333img_3339

The bracelet is more like me. I have been trying to makeup some things I feel like I need to use. I am happy with the way they look but sometimes when I get done I think it looks like someone else made it.

Using  leather and Hilltribe silver is really where I feel at home. Four or five years ago I started using leather and fell in love with the look and feel.  I don’t usually think I need to use the Thai silver I have collected (like other beads and pendants) in fact I hoard it, I don’t know why.
