This month’s challenge is
“Fairy Feller’s-Master Stroke”
by Richard Dadd.

I used a handmade bead by Lynn Davis, Czech glass, jasper and Hilltribe Thai silver, all strung on natural colored cord.
I think Lynn’s bead has old worked charm.
You can see all entries on the group flickr photos and you can see more views of my necklace on my flickr photos.
Thanks for stopping by and I thank all of you who stop by and leave comments, I love to read each and everyone.

The inspiration for this month’s challenge
artist Wassily Kandinsky,

The pendant was made by Stacy Barnes the Greensburg art center director.
I had no plans to submit something for this months challenge, but after I saw the pendants she made I knew it would be perfect.

Monthly Challenge - Monet’s Water Lilies

The inspiration for this month’s challenge is a lovely impressionist painting from Monet, Water Lilies.

My Art Bead Scene entrie for May
I have used a leaf pendant from Mellisa at Chinook Jewelry and her blog. The leaf just looks like it belongs with the painting, the floral design and the color. It is a simply strung necklace with rose quartz, Azurite, Kyanite and seed beads. I wire wrapped the bail for the pendant and hand forged the hook and eye. Be sure and stop by Art Bead Scene blog to see all the entries and the Featured designer of the week, who is Sharon from Livewire jewelry. She made a beautiful blue bracelet.

Some new jewelry I will be taking to the Big Well gift shop to sell.
I think I was in the mood to use turquoises and green. You can see larger photos at my flickr photostream
