Pendant from LeAnn of Summers Studio Pottery ( I love the colors), bronzite, Fancy quartz, Toho cube beads and copper chain. I seem to really be into copper lately. Copper has always been one of my favorite things. When I was young and we would go on vacation I remember often coming home with a new piece of copper jewelry. The tourist shops had a good selection of copper. I still have several of my finds from years gone by.
Silver is still my favourite metal and the one I love to work with. I have made jewelry for years and would have never thought of using brass or other base metals (except copper) , till lately. I have still used brass only a very few times, I am just a sterling silver girl.

Debbie, very beautiful! I love the colours - you did a fantastic job of picking up the colours of the pendant with your beads! Great match!!
really pretty - i, too, was a sterling person only… but the world opens up when you integrate the other metals… copper specifically because there is so much you can do with it (and not cringe if you make a mistake)… the vintaj i am willing to work with because it is american made and guaranteed to be lead-free… but i have to admit, that it where i stop… the only other one i would look at for variety is steel… i love leann’s work and you have really done well by you both!
Beautiful, Debbie. I love the colours and the copper. I just had a look in your Flickr. Twinkels is looking very spooky.
Gorgeous color combination Deb!! I too love silver, but the copper is stunning with these colors!
Hi Debbie, so nice to see you again on my blog! Thanks for the nice comment. This pendant is wonderful. Beautifully made. Take care.
A beautiful necklace, Deb. LeAnn’s pendant and your wirework and complementary beads create a striking combination. The copper and the purple are perfect colors for the fall.
Amazing jewelry!
I think the brass really suits you. Although I’m a huge fan of your silver too. This piece really speaks “autumn” to me. Wonderful warm colors and such exquisite style.
